If the app cannot start recording on the watch, it may be due to permissions. To enable permissions on the watch, go to Settings -> Permissions -> Audio Recorder. However, if you are unable to enable permissions, it may be because a different app has opened a transparent window in fullscreen. Some users have provided descriptions that can help:
- I temporarily disabled the Wear App "Wear Minilauncher" or "Feel The Wear - Notifications"
- I gave your app file writing and microphone permissions from the watch's Parameters -> Authorizations -> Audio Recorder
- The "screen overlay detected" message no longer appears (with or without Wear Minilauncher activation), as the app no longer needs to ask for already given permissions.
Important! There is a bug with the Moto 360. When the watch activates the "OK Google" feature, the microphone stops working in other applications, even if a recording is already in progress. To restore sound recording, turn off the display, go to the Settings menu, or open any other application (as long as "OK Google" is not available). For normal operation, keep the app open.
